Junior Science Squad (Ages 6–9 *must be school aged)
Hands-on science experiments that show energy at work. Your junior Scientist will test compression with variants, discover efficient ways to use solar energy, and see how energy powers machinery that makes life safer and easier for the human race. A fun, guided way to connect science to the real world.
Monday 22nd Sep – Science: Steam & Combustion

It's full steam ahead in this 90-minute hands-on Science session! Learn the power of steam, the pressure of combustion and what that means for the world we live in. Experiment with steam models to learn how heat can make things move. Stay for the two hours and gain hands on STEM experience while learning through play and experiments!
Tuesday 23rd Sep – Technology: Solar Basics
- Technology is heating up in this 90-minute solar session! Learn how to harness solar energy safely, the reason we use solar and why it matters. Your junior engineer can test how solar heat works through a range of hands-on experiments. Stay for the two hours and gain hands on STEM experience while learning through play and experiments!
Wednesday 24th Sep – Engineering: Energy at Work in Machines

Energy isn't just in the sun, or in vehicles! The human body is it's very own power source. Take a deep dive for 90-minutes into the world of energy at work. Think compression in fire trucks, the energy ambulances need, and simple hydraulic models. Stay for the two hours and gain hands on STEM experience while learning through play and experiments!
